Carl York
Carl began his professional photography career in 1989 as a whitewater photographer in Jackson, Wyoming. Once bitten by the photography bug, he quickly broadened his experience by shooting photojournalism, weddings, family portraits, and studio. After graduating from Arizona State University in 1995 with a BFA in Photography, Carl has been concentrating on shooting the diverse lifestyles of the Rocky Mountains while focusing on the outdoors. His keen sense of composition, lighting, and how to capture precious fleeting moments has been an unmistakable trademark in all of his work. Carl’s latest joy is photographing his new baby boy, Gavin. On his days off Carl is usually found whooping it up on a singletrack mountain bike trail somewhere between Snowbird and Park City.
